Laurie Beth McPike
President/CEO

Laurie Beth earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas and her Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration from Trinity University before beginning her 20-year career as a health care leader. Laurie Beth's passion for healing and ensuring well-being in others began as a child, after watching her own mother's struggle with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. A disorder of the nerves and muscles, Guillain-Barre is a painful battle and often leaves patients paralyzed. Laurie Beth's personal experience with this cruel disease fueled her journey and success. With extensive executive leadership background in most aspects of the post-acute continuum of care, Laurie Beth has changed lives through her work in inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, long term acute care hospitals, outpatient rehabilitation centers, occupational medicine clinics, pain centers, home health agencies, fitness centers, wound care centers and skilled nursing units. Laurie Beth and her husband, Jon, felt they could extend a more personal touch and family feel to the healthcare experience by starting their own company. Remarkable Healthcare was born through their dedication, hard work and commitment to exceedingly high standards. "Remarkable Healthcare is an atmosphere of quality care combined with warmth and familiarity among staff and 'neighbors', as residents are known," Laurie Beth says. "We want our neighbors and their family members to feel that and take comfort in it each time they come through our doors." The name is no coincidence. Having seen care done well and done poorly, Laurie Beth felt there was only one acceptable level of quality for her new family business -- and that is Remarkable. Laurie Beth and her husband have seven children and enjoy sports and family time outdoors. Laurie Beth maintains her license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.

Jon McPike
Chief Operating Officer/CEO

Jon was enrolled in Dallas Baptist University when part of his service to others led him to volunteer at a nursing home, where he was quickly named Activity Director. Jon took courses at Tarrant County College to become certified for that position. Jon also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dallas Baptist University. Jon spent his first post-college years with the Dallas Ombudsman program, visiting dozens of nursing homes around DFW as a patient advocate. During that time, he earned his license as a nursing facility administrator and solidified his commitment to improving the industry for patients and employees. Over the course of Jon's 24 years in the nursing home industry, he has earned praise as a proven healthcare leader. His accomplishments are detailed in a strong track record of successful startups, turnarounds, and sustaining stellar operational and financial performance at these facilities. Jon still points to his Texas summers spent with his grandparents as part of his passion for improving the health, dignity and quality-of-life for those he serves today. "There's a saying that the elderly need so little, but they need that little so much," Jon says. "If our team can put the work we do every day into being that needed entity to make things better for just one person, then we are blessed." Jon runs Remarkable Healthcare with his wife, Laurie Beth. They have seven children and enjoy sports and outdoor activities together as a family.

Jessica Anderson
Chief Clinical Officer

Jessica is originally from Nacogdoches, Texas where her passion to become a registered nurse began after the loss of her father. While working in long-term care over the past ten years, she has gained extensive experience as a nurse manager and regional clinical director.

Jessica joined Remarkable Healthcare in 2011, as the chief nursing officer to open our second facility in Fort Worth. She worked with physicians to develop Remarkable Healthcare’s clinical systems, policies, and infrastructure. By putting her programming into practice Remarkable Healthcare of Fort Worth achieved stellar patient outcomes under her leadership.

In 2013, Jessica was promoted to Chief Clinical Officer for Remarkable Healthcare and has established clinical practices to successfully lead the company through several clinically deficiency-free surveys.

Jessica is an electronic medical records super user and configuration trainer for all Remarkable electronic record keeping systems. She strives to exclusively use electronic medical recordkeeping in all facilities. Her goal is to give critical time back to our nurses for more focused patient-centered care. Jessica’s commitment to excellent “in-house” clinical care is always evident in her innovation to improve all Remarkable Healthcare clinical systems and processes.

Jessica is devoted to excellence at work, but her love for her husband and her two sons is always number one! She enjoys watching her boys excel in sports and school, attending local attractions in DFW with her family, and running in charity 5K events.

Lance Turner
Chief Plant Operations Officer

Lance began his professional career in sales for a retail automotive service center. Through hard work and a demonstration of leadership qualities, he was promoted to a management position. During his tenure in that company, he managed three different locations including the highest volume location in Texas.

After fifteen years, Lance decided to make a career change and transitioned into a position as the Environmental Service and Maintenance Director for a new nursing and rehabilitation facility. Throughout his eleven-year career in healthcare, Lance has worked in a variety of settings including managing multiple campus facilities and has been a part of six start-up facilities. Lance has a special place in his heart for the elderly since his grandparents played a large role in his upbringing after his father passed away at a young age. When he is not at work, Lance enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys concerts, sports, outdoor activities, and is always up for a good card game with his buddies.

Sharon Siletti
Vice President of Business Office Operations

Sharon brings twenty-two years of knowledge, education and experience to the Remarkable Healthcare family. She began her career in long- term care as a receptionist in a privately owned facility. She was quickly promoted, served as the business office manager for five years, and eventually moved up to the assistant administrator position. Sharon continued to advance in her career by accepting a regional position with another leading, long-term care company where she remained for fourteen years. During that time, she was instrumental in developing a centralized billing office, which improved company collections and made Texas the leader in cash collections for the company. While in this position, Sharon returned to college as a full-time student and earned her BSBA in December 2012.

Sharon enjoys spending her time with family and friends and she especially enjoys her new role as a grandparent. She is an avid Cross-Fit athlete, enjoys mud runs, long walks or hikes, and gardening outdoors. Her favorite place to vacation is on the beach and in the sun.

Nanda Shipp
Financial Analyst

Nanda Shipp is originally from Brazil, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in law from the University Paulista UNIP. After several years of practicing law in Brazil’s very competitive professional market, Nanda felt the need to improve her language skills. So, in 2006, she took a leap of faith; leaving her job, friends, and family, and moved to the United States. She planned to travel and study English for several years and then return to Brazil, but her plans changed course when she fell in love and got married. During that time, Nanda also earned her master’s degree in comparative and international law from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Laurie Beth McPike, the President and CEO of Remarkable Healthcare, has known Nanda since she moved from Brazil, and was aware of her professional skills. She is reliable, creative, competent, and always demonstrates her willingness to grow. With a need to expand the regional financial team for Remarkable Healthcare, Laurie Beth invited Nanda to join the team as our corporate financial analyst. We are blessed to have her because her versatility, intelligence, attention-to-detail, and remarkable dedication are unmatched.

Alan Roget
Chief Executive Officer, Fort Worth

We are excited to have Alan Roget, CEO, leading our Fort Worth team. Alan has an outstanding professional career that lead him into long-term healthcare leadership, and, eventually, to Remarkable Healthcare.

Alan graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and, for most of his professional life, he worked in banking, finance and medical-related business development. Eventually, with that expertise, and his interest in helping the geriatric population, Alan decided that he could focus on his life’s mission, to bring comfort and compassion, in a career as a long-term healthcare administrator. It is evident that Alan’s priorities include preserving dignity and reassuring each person he encounters, that his or her life is valuable. He says that he feels a true calling to perform those responsibilities to the best of his ability.

When Alan is not at work, he spends time with his wife, Micki, and their two boys, Kyle and Garrett. Alan enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with friends. He is excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Remarkable Team!

Diane McPike
Vice President of Operations

I have had a passion for healthcare since I was little, and my dream job was to be a surgeon. Once I entered college I started taking science classes, and found a love in Chemistry. I changed my major from biology to Biochemistry, and I received my B.S. in Biochemistry from Texas Women’s University in 2012. I then took a year to explore my options, and found that being a doctor did not fall into my list of strengths.

I decided to pursue management in the Healthcare field, and began working on my MBA in Healthcare management at UT Tyler. While finishing up my degree, I was given the opportunity to work for Remarkable Healthcare as the Director of Project Management. My love for the Healthcare community, and family oriented culture made it a job opportunity that was perfect for me and my career goals. After graduation in May 2016, I am continuing my career path at Remarkable, and enjoying every minute of it.
